razerx Posted April 14, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 14, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) The 180mm f/2.0 Summicron-R comes with a UV filter in the filter draw. I want to get a yellow filter for it. Do replacement filters come in their own filter draws or are they just regular Series VI filter that can pop in and out of the included filter draw? Do other makers such as B+W or Heliopan make these filters or do I have to order them from Leica? Thanks!
Advertisement Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Hi razerx, Take a look here 180mm f/2 Summicron-R filters. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ALUX Posted April 14, 2010 Share #2 Posted April 14, 2010 The filters in the draw can be easily exchanged. I'm confident B&W or Heliopan can supply all kinds of filters in this size (I'm not sure about the number, but I think its series 6).
masjah Posted April 14, 2010 Share #3 Posted April 14, 2010 ff***s, the well known Scottish dealer, has got a Leica Series 6 yellow/orange for the huge sum of £9. (It will probably cost more than that for the postage and packing!)
razerx Posted April 14, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted April 14, 2010 So the uv in the standard filter holder is removable and I can replace it with any Series VI filter? Thanks!!
