super fast turnaround isn't that important - looking for quality and price. thanks.

I get them at home.

As much quality as you like and really cheaper than lab if you are really into film.

Cheers.

I do my own processing for traditional B&W films, use the local pharmacy to process all c-41 stuff which they also put on a CD for me as part of my cataloging process. If I want better scans for printing I do those myself and ship them off, or if for display on the pc I routinely include them in post processing.

In the UK we check the user profile of the original poster, rather than that of the first person to respond to his message.

My apologies, Steve. I thought you were making a joke in response to the second poster, about wanting to get to his home for free prints.

Sorry, the joke's on me.

My apologies too, if I have not writen the right words. I wanted to say that the best option now and even more in the future it's self develope our films at home.

Much easier than people thinks (even color film) and really enjoyable.

Cheers.

For color transparencies, I use A&I in California. You can get mailers either from them or through B&H. They come back mounted in the traditional cardboard mounts; however, you can ask for the uncut roll to be returned.

Never been disappointed.

2nd thumbs up for A&I. Before I started doing E6 at home, they were the only ones I'd let do my slides. They have always been perfect about how I wanted my stuff mounted or unmounted.
