guang Posted April 3, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 3, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I would like to process my digital files in analogue manner, i.e. producing b/w prints from analogue slides by using my old analoque equipment whereas the analogue slides would have to be created beforehand by some online lab as I shoot with a digital camera. Does anyone has made experience with this idea? Is it possible at all? And does anyone know whether there exist any online lab which can produce analogue slides from digital files? And what is quality like? The idea to develop prints analogue while shooting digital sounds to me alluring, so any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. PS. Some years ago, I heard about that with a Digital Film Recorder this would be possible, however this equipment is quite expensive and I was wondering whether any Lab would provide this kind of service or whether nowadays there exists any less expensive alternative. stunsworth Posted April 3, 2010 Share #2 Posted April 3, 2010 Yes it can be done. Googling "digital slides" came up with this as the first hit... Digital Slides It often helps to say where in the world you live, since suggesting a lab in the UK isn't really of much use if you happen to live on the other side of the world. spydrxx Posted April 3, 2010 Share #3 Posted April 3, 2010 I've used a couple of services to have analog slides produced from digital shots, for lectures in places which didn't have digital projectors, but did have old slide projectors. The services all did outstanding jobs...in fact one person asked me if I used Kodachrome for my shots.
