X1 images

For anyone wanting to look at images from the X1, I've uploaded a few to Flickr. They were all taken at ISO100 and most of them in auto mode. Shot in DNG and processed in Lightroom 3 Beta 2.

I've uploaded them full size so you can click on 'all sizes' to see them at original size. No claims to photographic genius, just seeing how it does.

The lens renders out of focus areas nicely to my eye. Backgrounds seem unfussy and unobtrusive. Detail is retained into the corners.

I'm taking it to the Manchester United v Chelsea match on Saturday and may post some more after that...

Good sample shots thanks. Is that an ep1 kit lens on your gf1? how'd you wind up with that combo?

I REALLY want to see the shots from Man U / Chelsea and am extremely jealous you're going! I'll have to stay away from the thread as I probably won't get to see it and will have to dodge the results for at least 3 days!

What kind of seats did you get - isn't the limited range going to be an issue - or do you have some special access - given the username? It appears that may be the case - thought i recognized the name.

That's my friend Paul Hurst using his Panasonic GF-1 with an adapter for Leica lenses.

Not sure about my seats at the Big Match. I'm in the fortunate position of being a guest of a friend who runs the business that supplies my cars, so will be grateful for anything.
