dalippe Posted March 30, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 30, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) All, I think it would be a great service to many people (myself included!) to have a thread that contains all and only peoples' experiences with red edge, or lack thereof, with various lenses <= 35mm *with the new firmware*. This information is no doubt contained in some existing threads, but it is rather difficult to pull out from all of the other discussion/debate in those threads. It would be good if people can post pictures to support what they are saying I would request that people avoid debates, technical conjecture, expressing feelings toward Leica, or anything other than strict reports of what they are seeing. While I think those other things are all useful and valid, there are existing threads for that, and it would be great to have one thread which is nothing other than a depository of information. Thanks in advance to all contributors. Unfortunately, my M9 is sixty miles away and still running the old firmware, but I hope to contribute to this thread when I get my hands back on it and upgrade the firmware.
