I had shelled out money to be on the lists (B&H being full price) and was not seeing anything in return. I too wanted steel grey, but would have taken either if one was offered. What I did was spend a morning making a list of every authorized Leica dealer on the East Coast and in the Midwest and just started dialing. Try Green Mountain Camera In VT. I had to put a 500 deposit down, but as of last week there was not anyone on their list. I ended up finding on due to a cancellation through Stan Tamarkin in CT. He was great to deal with, shipping was free, and he tossed in a memory card to boot. Great guy. Anyway, it took a bit of time, and I was laughed at a few times, but mine will be in hand in two days so it was worth the time and mockery.
