rcompton Posted March 20, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 20, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello... new to Leica and M9 with a newbie question. When shooting in 'A' mode with 35 cron wide open I've noticed that the loupe info in Lightroom indicates that the aperture will sometimes vary from f/2 to f/2.8 despite not having changed any settings during shooting. Is this normal?

sandymc Posted March 20, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 20, 2010 Yes, that's normal. The aperture display is an estimate derived from the M9's exposure sensors as there is no actual coupling of aperture value to the M9 body. Search on "blue dot" on this forum if you want more detail, and also take a look at Carl Bretteville's metadata site: bretteville.com. Sandy
