jahnpack Posted March 16, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 16, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I am considering to buy a wide angle Zeiss lens 25mm f2.8 biogon to be used on an M9. i have 12mm and 35mm Voigtlander lenses now and looking for something in the middle of them. Any suggestions. I can not afford a Leica one right now. Any much difference between 21mm and 25mm biogon. Do you recommend Voigtlander Skopars. Thanks in advance Can

Thanks in advance Can I have the 25 biogon and also the 35 lux ASPH. The 25 is a good wider lens companion (actually I just bought a SA 21 to go wider...) It's very sharp and contrasty. A good number of the shots here are shot with the Biogon: Richard Man Photography and Calligraphy I love the Biogon design, minimal distortion. jahnpack Posted March 17, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted March 17, 2010 Thanks I've also heard 25 biogon is a great performer. Since I've 35mm nokton I just think that the focal lenght are close? Maybe 21 Biogon can be a choice. I just can't decide : )
chrisleica Posted March 17, 2010 Share #5 Posted March 17, 2010 I purchased a 25/2.8 Biogon (from popflash photo) for my M8.2. The lens was modified for the M8 framelines. I am very happy with it. It compares well with the 35 summicron which I also own. It is definitely good value for money. I will be posting some pictures from the Biogon within the week. Double Negative Posted March 18, 2010 Share #7 Posted March 18, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) The 2,8/25 ZM is probably one of the sharpest lenses I've ever used. It's a phenomenal lens and probably one of the best in the ZM lineup. I love mine - easily my most-used lens.
