NZDavid Posted March 10, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 10, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was browsing through the German forum and was most impressed with these pictures: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/forum-zur-leica-x1/115345-x1-schnappies-vom-einmal-ber-hren.html And Peter's website at: peterlueck.com Worth a look! PS: Apologies if this post has been listed already, but I think the X1 review is new in any case.
Advertisement Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Hi NZDavid, Take a look here Images from German forum. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ashlee52 Posted March 10, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 10, 2010 Those shots have a wonderful subtle color quality... just the opposite of the Velvia look I am growing so tired of. I suspect they may have been shot in JPEG... since the examples I have seen suggest that the JPEG color quality is more muted than the raw captures. Whatever it is , it reminds me of the look of 4x5 cameras using color negative films. I could comment more knowingly if my X-1 were to ever get to me.
