Windy Miller Posted March 9, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 9, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, My C-Lux 2 has just stopped auto-focussing after a couple of years of working perfectly. Outdoors in good light when I depress the button half way I get a green flashing light (instead of just lit) and the autofocus box turns red. I'm wondering if I (or the kids) could have inadvertantly disabled the auto-focus somehow (although I'm not aware that this is even possible!) or if anyone has any other ideas. All ideas welcome - many thanks!
Advertisement Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Hi Windy Miller, Take a look here C-Lux 2 not auto-focussing . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Windy Miller Posted March 9, 2010 Author Share #2 Posted March 9, 2010 This is odd. I just gave the little sensor a wipe (even though it didn't look dirty) and it worked. Then it stopped again. Then I gave it a really really good clean and it seems ok. I guess I'll have to see how it goes to find out if there's a real problem. Odd that it suddenly stopped after two year of normal handling if dirt really was the problem.
BMJ Posted March 31, 2010 Share #3 Posted March 31, 2010 Hi My mother have experienced the same - no proper focus but if you zoom to max it seems to work better. But, if the battery is removed and inserted again - it's OK. Must be some SW bug. /BR
