Advertisement Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Hi jahnpack, Take a look here manual frameline selection. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
SJP Posted February 21, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 21, 2010 I expect the 12 mm should not change the framelines as it is far outside the normal range. You need an external viewfinder for that or just click and pray. The 35mm should bring up the right framelines, if it was a L-mount lens originally then in theory somone could have mounted the wrong L to M conversion. Do the framelines change if you move the frameline lever on the front of the camera?

marknorton Posted February 21, 2010 Share #4 Posted February 21, 2010 Just to be clear, the framelines are adjusted mechanically according to the lens mounted. One of the bayonet flanges is made slightly longer or shorter to bring up the correct frame. Look inside the lens mount and you will see the silver lever. The pre-view lever overrides the lens selection to allow you to see "what if" framing.
