elansprint72 Posted February 18, 2010 Share #1 Posted February 18, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Apart from the DTD exhibition tomorrow, is time we arranged another walk-about? I know we kicked some ideas around a while back but I've passed water since then and can't remember what we decided (or not!). I rather fancy shooting up the remaining buildings in what we now call "The Northern Quarter". I have an excellent booklet from English Heritage and now realise that, although I worked right there for eight years, there is more to be seen than I realised. A Sunday morning might be best, you can stand in the middle of the road to shoot and there will be less parked cars.

cocker Posted February 28, 2010 Share #14 Posted February 28, 2010 The guy who runs the cafe in the Craft Centre is a friend of mine. I can check to see if he can reserve us some lunch places if we fancy it (and if its open on Sunday). Food is very good and reasonable prices. http://www.craftanddesign.com/about/cafe
