ho_co Posted March 14, 2010 Share #41 Posted March 14, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I also prefer to work directly with Leica, rather than going through a dealer. A lot of things can be going on in that relationship triangle that aren't visible to the customer. I almost never call ahead to pre-grease the flow of my repair. When I've had a specific date by which I've needed the equipment back, I've always had positive response from my phone calls. Occasionally a part isn't available, so I'm warned not to expect the item back in time; usually, the work gets done quickly and well in response to my needs. As Jeff and others have said, they're always pleasant and helpful. But then I don't bug them about little things on every repair. I try to stay out of their hair to let them get their jobs done.
