innerimager Posted February 15, 2010 Share #1 Posted February 15, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) My single stroke M3 is giving me a problem I wonder if it's familiar. It will advance film fine until it gets to the last 1/3 of the roll or so. Them it intermittently acts like a "double stroke" that is I'll wind it all the way, but the shutter won't release, until I wind it a second time. I guess it needs to go to DAG or someone like him, but has anyone run into something like this? best...Peter

andybarton Posted February 15, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 15, 2010 Sounds like it just needs a CLA to put it back into full working order.
Irishimage Posted February 15, 2010 Share #3 Posted February 15, 2010 Peter, The problem you have is related to the positioning of the stop cam on the top of the film transportation shaft. It appears to be out of position by a small amount ,not allowing full rotation of the shaft. With the top cover removed it's an easy 5 minute fix.
