Note the drop in the EU against the Dollar since Nov 09. That's 10% more margin on each unit if my math works out. 1.51-1.36. Â Not saying it's intentional but it's turning out to be good business. I remember buying an Elmar M at the factory store in 2001 for about 575usd after exchange rate. Today it would be over $1000 even without Leica driven price increases. It seems to be available in Europe only so far. As far as I know in the Netherlands it was available only in two shops. Now the delivering time is approx. 3 weeks.
