Advertisement Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Hi mobeyone, Take a look here M8, M8.2, M8u - whats the difference?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Nicoleica Posted February 7, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 7, 2010 Hi, The main differences between an M8 and an M8.2 are 1) Sapphire glass LCD cover. 2) Revised framelines. 3) A 'quieter', but slower shutter (Only up 1/4000 instead of 1/8000). 4) The addition of 'Snapshot' mode. 5) A different cover material, with black paint instead of black chrome finish. (Silver models are still chrome.) An 'M8u' is an M8 with one or more of the first 3 items above, that have been added via the upgrade program. Otherwise, they are the same camera. Whichever model you end up buying, it's a great camera.
