Considering what a short time it was in production there seem to be a lot around, and the prices they sell for suggests that there really is a market. It wasn't much on the M8 ,,,, Jono, that is a question of opinion. I am not alone in finding the TE 28-35-50 lens great on the M8. The only marginal weakness is in the wide open performance at the 28mm setting. As a travel photography lens it is superb and obviates the risk of dust ingression by giving you much flexibility. If you are after mural or poster size prints, faster primes certainly have the edge; but for most practical purposes, the TE is a superb compromise. No wonder they are eagerly sought after.
