Just this last weekend I was concerned my R3A had developed a major shutter fault as I could not get the shutter to fire when I pressed the button. A fresh set of batteries neatly solved the problem as I remembered it's an electronic shutter after all. A useful lesson - the first battery replacement in over two years since purchase. menos I M6 Posted February 5, 2010 Share #6 Posted February 5, 2010 Had a similar issue, when I bought my used M7. A few rolls in, it refused to fire. I was not experienced with the brightness of a "full battery M7" vs. a "low battery M7" either so, I feared the worst. Switched to fresh batteries and the camera runs. I have now "low battery phobia" and always carry 4 cells in my bag, 4 cells in my office and 4 cells at home. You never know, right ;-) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
