veloman Posted February 4, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted February 4, 2010 Thank you all for your comments.Ed,Not being a botanist I can't ID the seed pod but it stood out after a light snow-fall in a boggy area near my home so I assume it's the pod of some kind of water lilly.It got me looking for other natural winter colours that inhabited the area .I show a few finds that.as yet ,I have'nt set up for some close-up pictures(I think I've found a new interest) V.
