smoody Posted January 30, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 30, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been looking for an extra M9 battery during the past couple of weeks -- the cold weather is a battery's cruel mistress (huh?). They seem to be difficult to find on the web (and in NYC) at the moment. Anyway, I was visiting the popflash site a few minutes ago and they appear to have some in stock. Leica M8 Battery I suspect the availability issues will clear up soon, but even if that's the case, their price is good for the USA. note: I'm not associated with popflash in any way. I've never even spoken to them on the phone, but have had good luck ordering from them over the web. :-)

snajczuk Posted February 1, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 1, 2010 Received my second M9 battery from B&H on Friday. Lookup the M8 battery on their website. It’s the same battery used for the M9.
Guest BigSplash Posted February 1, 2010 Share #3 Posted February 1, 2010 I never thought I would see the day when there are posts here to tell us where we can get a replacement battery for a current model electronic product. This for a company with a prestige brand that is not exactly cheap. Anyhow those people in USA will be glad for ting here. Please note that for we Europeans there are currently several posts on who has stock of Leica OEM batteries in EU. I guess that covers the important parts of the world!!! (Asia Australia!?)
