rob3rt5 Posted January 30, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 30, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm sure that I'm overlooking something but I can't seem to be able to adjust Sharpening, Color saturation, or Contrast. They are all stuck on Standard and go dark when I wheel the menu over them. Any ideas? Also, Color managem. is stuck on sRGB. I tried to reset the camera- didn't work. Advertisement Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Hi rob3rt5, Take a look here menu items not available for adjustment. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
rob3rt5 Posted January 30, 2010 Author Share #2 Posted January 30, 2010 I figured it out. I've never used the profiles and it was stuck on Snapshot mode. Every day is another adventure. You folks must think I'm some sort of idiot. LOL Well, I also am getting far better results going with manual WB and Manual Time adjustments. Who knows by the end of the week I might actually be able to post something that doesn't humiliate me.
hoppyman Posted January 30, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 30, 2010 Rob it is important to note that if you use DNG rather than jpg the controls for sharpening, saturation, colour space etc have no effect. You can set them up for when you select jpg capture if desired. You can pre-select WB if wanted but it makes no difference to the actual data, only provides that as default when you convert. jpg is different of course. rob3rt5 Posted January 30, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted January 30, 2010 Thanks Hoppyman. I didn't realise that I couldn't affect the DNG- Makes sense-that's what C1Pro is for.
