It's an Addonics (Aimtec suppied in UK) and seems a huge improvement on FW800 for CF cards. I haven't got as far as trying big downloads from SDHC as I left my M9 in Cape Town, having broken a wrist down there and am quite unable to pick it up and use it - an exercise in frustration and stupidity alike. Seems to devour Sd cards from DL4 (single handed camera mercifully) or FT-1. Makes the USB readers look very slow. For £63 delivered it seems a very reasonable option. It reads most cards I have ever heard of; does not need drivers, and is thoroughly Mac compatible. I haven't attached it to my windoze box and don't plan to, but there are no special drivers. If using eSata they supply a cable, as also a USB cable to power the device. Size is about the same as an internal HDD, but weighs much less. Depending on results of further testing it will be travelling with me, but in a very well padded bag in view of owner's obvious instability!
