Don't push me...

One of the hardest things to do is confront a complete stranger with your camera. The best way I've found of catching people in motion is to stand at a point along their path and let them walk, or ride, or push themselves into my picture. After all, what fault is it of mine if they walk into my shot???

It's a little harder if they're stationary; but it never hurts to go up and ask if you can help, or some kind of small talk appropriate to the moment, then ask if they have a minute for a picture.

Try that next time Ed. I think everyone wants to see the face, to read its dignity or lack thereof, its composure, its frustration, and expression in this difficult situation.

Thanks.

Thanks Allan for your kind words.

Thomas, Stefan,

It's only a picture, not a political statement. That's all. Thank you both for taking time to look and comment.

That's my buddy Shlomo, he's got major health issues. I take him to the store to get some groceries, sometimes medications. It was a very hot summer day on Christopher street in NYC. The reason I don't want to show his face is for privacy reasons. You can take as you like. That's fine.

Thanks again for looking.
