Leica Virgin Posted January 25, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 25, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have D-Lux 4 for over a month now. I am still in the process of learning how to use the camera, all the options and settings. I have s specific question about Intelligent ISO. Why the Intelligent ISO is only available on Apperture and Program modes and on Shutter and Manual modes. Can someone please explain the logic behind it. Thank you so much. Advertisement Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Hi Leica Virgin, Take a look here Intelligent ISO. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Leica Virgin Posted January 25, 2010 Author Share #2 Posted January 25, 2010 Edit: Why is Intelligent ISO available on Apperture and Program Modes and NOT on Shutter and Manual modes.
nigelb Posted January 25, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 25, 2010 Intelligent ISO takes control of the shutter speed to minimise camera shake. Any mode that gives you control over the shutter speed - manual, shutter priority - is therefore not allowed. Obvious if you think about it Nigel
