Ecar Posted January 25, 2010 Share #21 Posted January 25, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ecar, Originally I plan to exchange my 75lux with a used 28 cron asph + 75 cron asph with my friend. But my dealer in the city told me that 75lux is a collector item that is almost hard to get the mint one. so I better be keep one, and buy a used 75 cron asph if there is any. I also like 75lux character but surely it is not a daily lens IMHO Jerry I understand - and agree the Lux 75 is not an everyday lens. Now, swapping it for for a Cron 28 + a Cron 75? Mmmm... definitely worth considering - particularly if they are in good condition. It's true that a mint Lux 75 is hard to get and may possibly be considered a collector item, but maybe the 28/75 Cron combo may prove to be a much more enjoyable experience - and this is priceless IMHO;) Just my 2c... and apologies - I'm OT again... peter_n Posted January 25, 2010 Share #22 Posted January 25, 2010 As for my ideal FL, I spend a lot of time with a 50 mounted on the M9. That's why I have a 50 lux on order. Should it ever arrive, I think that's going to spend the most time on the camera.I was originally going to go with many of the others and the Summicron 35 ASPH, but now you've said this I think the better FL match for your 50 is the 28 Elmarit. Get the last pre-ASPH Summicron 90 (E55) and you'd have a great 28/50/90 set. I use a 24/35/75 kit but that's just me. That Summicron 35 ASPH is a fantastic carry-round lens and you might still want to think about getting one since you like the lens so much.
