holmes Posted January 22, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 22, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well here in Southern New Mexico (USA) it's raining. I'm at 4,000 foot level. Start going higher and snow. Which is what a lot of the northern tier states are getting and they are surfing on the streets in southern Cal. What I really wanted to talk about is I've finally finished putting a rather nice M and R system together. I've got two M7s, 0.58 and 0.72 plus an M6TTL 0.58, Lens are a 28 f 2 asph, 35 f2 asph, a 50 f 2.5 and my 75 f 1.4.. My R system, I had DAG service my three Rs. Two late R6.2s and one R7. Lens wise 60 f2.8 macro, 90 f 2, 180 f4 and a 250 f4. The zooms are a 35-70 f 4 with aspheric element and my 105-280 f 4.2. I have an Elpro 3 for my 90. A right angle finder for the Rs. Not trying to claim bragging rights but it took some careful shopping and then only minimal service where necessary. So in the day of when many are fleeing to digital,I will stand my ground with film. Chromes, B&W and color negatives. I posted three on LUG and have another album on Leica users.

Joachim123 Posted January 23, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 23, 2010 I use and R4 which has always been very reliable also and M6. I am not converting to digital anytime soon. Its nice to see others still using film. I love the results that I get from shooting slides.
