Rodya Posted January 21, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a D-Lux 4. I have added a Lensmate Tube and a Hoya 46mm filter. I wish to add a lens hood for obvious reasons. Has any one found a hood that can be used with out causing vignetting?

ians Posted January 21, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 21, 2010 Hi I found an old (unused) hood with a 49mm thread on ebay (and a 46-49 step ring) from a guy who specializes in odd camera bits and pieces. I think he trades as 'Old Cam'. Ian
RPS Posted January 21, 2010 Share #4 Posted January 21, 2010 Claw - here's the Lensmate website: Lensmateonline - Leica D-Lux4 and Panasonic Lumix LX3 I own this extension tube and several filters - I keep it on the camera at all times. Since I believe the lens mechanism on the DL4 to be somewhat prone to accidental damage, I like the protection the tube affords. However, it does increase the overall size (bulk) of the DL4 and, for all practical purposes, eliminates the "pocketable" aspect of the base camera w/o tube.
