The 28mm lines are right at the outer edge if I look straight through, and to see the additional room beyond the lines I have to peer around. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The extra thickness of the M8/9 body creates a tunnel like effect which reduces the field of view through the finder (if compared with an equivalent magnification finder on a thinner body). The lower magnification finder 0.68x helps squeeze everything in but the 28mm framelines are still a tighter fit than the corresponding frames on a film 0.72x finder.
