batmobile Posted January 14, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 14, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) This issue was mentioned by Sean Reid in his test. What have users found in use? Is it an issue - i.e have you detected the shift in practical use? What about its impact vs distance? Is it most prevalent close up or farther away? What sort of phsical distance does this shift represent. Inches at, say, 5m, or more? Just trying to get my head around this issue and understand what it means. batmobile Posted January 17, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted January 17, 2010 Holmes, how have you found its performance overall and can you compare to experiences with your other lenses? I am extremely pleaased with the 35 and am wondering about the 50 for a second lower contrast lens to go with it. I am really enjoying the neutral and smooth but sharp rendering of the 35.
