Another suggestion to Leica: M8 - ability to manually set lens focal length and fstop

I would like to see Leica allows the M8 firmware to take manual input from users. I can just enter the focal length and fstop of the M lens I have so firmware can detect and take that into account for vignette correction, etc...Bar code detection will be given priority next will be manual input or ignore it all together.

An extra screen with a small sort list of lenses is all you need to program into the LCD menu.

Thanks Mark. Didn't read Sean post so I wasn't aware this issue has been brought up before. it's not that hard to implement and it's all in firmware programming so I hope Leica will take notes.
