MJLogan Posted December 23, 2006 Share #61 Â Posted December 23, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) R lens to 4/3 adapters exist. Leica will release an "official" (read: expensive) one soon. Olympus OM to 4/3 also exists. I have one, and it yields interesting results, turning an f/1.4 50mm OM prime into a great portrait/short tele lens. I'm not sure about M lenses. Â The only caveat with R lenses, or my old fully-manual OM, is that the D3 is not the easiest camera to focus manually. It's a snap in live-view mode, but it took me some time to learn to get accurate focus through the VF.
Advertisement Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Hi MJLogan, Take a look here OK, can't afford M8. What about D3?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Riley Posted December 23, 2006 Share #62 Â Posted December 23, 2006 i really doubt M will because the M register is so short, the lens would need to mount inside the mount some way. R lens... possibly with an adapter, but you lose auto focus etc
