ho_co Posted December 7, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 7, 2006 When the M8 first appeared, a couple people commented that the hot shoe was tighter, and found that some accessories required either filing or just applying a bit of graphite from the edge of a pencil lead for mounting. One of the posters said he had been told by Leica that they also used the pencil lead method when necessary. Sounds like an annoyance--but then my current annoyance is not having received my M8!
