If you can manage to get a good artist in print the almost always rise in value so long as there is supply and demand factors at work. Believe it or not magazines do too. Some of them are now worth four figures -- first editions of the Becher;s Anonyme Skulpturen, Lewis Baltz's New Industrial Parks, Friedlandler's The American Monument, Thomas Struth's Unconscious Places to mention just a few. I am in the process of getting rid of a lot of them, because I no longer need to consult them, and I would rather invest in working equipment.
