seascape Posted December 28, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 28, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) While my D-Lux 4 was connected to my PC, I edited (i.e. rotated) a few JPGs on the SD card while it was in the camera, using the Windows 7 Photo Viewer. Usually, I copy the images to the PC first or rotate them with the camera controls, but this time I forgot. Unfortunately, the edited images no longer display (i.e. just a black screen with no image data other than its number) in the camera, although they are on the SD card and viewable while connected to my PC. Is there any trick to make them reappear on the camera? Not a big deal, but I would still like to see them on the camera.

regedit Posted December 28, 2009 Share #2 Posted December 28, 2009 funny story! I doubt that anybody bother to check if it's true! editing pictures on camera card with windows?! maybe is good for everybody to stop this reply here!...
pop Posted December 28, 2009 Share #3 Posted December 28, 2009 I would presume that the windows viewer dropped the preview images. Accordingly, I would open and save them (on disk) with a program which produces the preview image. IrfanView comes to mind. Hovewer, I have not tried to do this and therefore can not guarantee that you will be satisfied. @regedit: strange opinion for someone who names himself after a windows service program
