filuz Posted December 31, 2009 Author Share #21 Posted December 31, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) By the way, I've changed this lens with a 28 and a 50mm. If someone is interested, now it's available at Foto Orlando (italian Leica reseller near Reggio Emilia) Happy new year again... Filippo
Advertisement Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Hi filuz, Take a look here SUMMICRON 35/2 with wrong depth of field scale. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest Jockele Posted December 31, 2009 Share #22 Posted December 31, 2009 Hi everybody, I'm a young Leica user (from the photographic point of view ;-) and I've recently bought a M6 with the SUMMINCRON 35/2 ASPH. lens (see attached photo). The strange thing is that the depth of field scale on the lens seems to be the SUMMILUX version and not the SUMMICRON one because there's the "1.4" number reported and not "2". I've asked to the italian Leica service who asked to Leica headquarter and the answer was that there was an incredible error when the lens was produced. Of course Leica is available to get back the lens for the repair under warranty. So the question is: should I send back the lens free of charge in order to bring it back to original configuration but loosing the particularity of this unique sample? Many thanks for any suggestion. Filippo this is a hybrid lens! Very good and seldon. :D
pimpster Posted January 9, 2010 Share #23 Posted January 9, 2010 maybe you can test the market value of this lens on ebay and see if u can actually make profit out of it, which u may then buy a even better lens (summilux asph??? )
