Flash: SF 58 or Metz 50 MZ 5?

I have had a Metz 50MZ 5 with an SCA 3501 module for my M6 TTL for about 8 years. I sold my analogue Ms (M6 and M7) shortly after I got my M8. I rarely use flash because mounting the M8 on the rail of the Metz with the flash to the right or left always make me look like a warrior. That' s why I bought the SF 20 later to have a little flash now and then. After the introduction of the SF 58 I have been thinking about whether I should sell both flashlights and get the modern unit. I do not know if the SCA 3501 communicates as well with the M8 as the SF 58 is supposed to do. On the other hand, I have heard the SF 58 makes the M8 hard to handle with quite a big and heavy load on top. What's your advice?

According to the Metz website the SCA 3502 doesn't give TTL on the M8 with the 50 MZ-5.

This is the compatibility table for older units: http://www.metz.de/fileadmin/fm-dam/Download/Homepage_Englisch/Photo_Electronic/SCA_Archiv/SCA_Adapter_Archive_GB.pdf

and this for current ones: http://www.metz.de/en/photo-electronics/sca-adapter.html .
