That would be nice. We need to learn. So if an experience user se this !

Share your knowledge.

And while "sharing" tell us your M9 / LR profile with comments "why" this is better than standard LR.

Well for me I like to learn about the generally M9 user profiles. Do you actually have one for different use eg Indoor, Outdoor (shadow), Night, City lights .....

And - one open question: Shooting indoor without blitz - tend to make my picture quite "yellow" (M9 setup: A -Exposure, Aut ISO max 1250, WB Auto or Tungsten)

Jeff,

I am interested in both the camera Profiles and color management .

My M9 hasn't arrived yet, but when I had my M8, I was never happy with any of the canned color profiles. That is, until I found the xrite passport and started making my own. Might want to look into this. Only downside is, as of today, it will only make DNG profiles, not ICC. This isn't an issue if you use LR, but won't work with C1.

I did my M9 profiling in Adobe Camera Raw - see my respose late in this thread to see a progression of how the image changed from the canned Leica and Adobe profiles: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m9-forum/109804-whats-going-here-red-aperture.html

Andy,

I have been searching for your thread, thanks for guiding me to it as it will be helpful. Looks great, I am off to give it a try. Appreciate your efforts in making the forum a wonderful resource of knowledge.

Thank you for the advise.

It seems that x-rite would be the answer !

Have anyone tried : CBL - Color Balance Lens - announced on LFI International. Somehow it looks more easy to transport and work with.
