holmes Posted December 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 25, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's here, it arrived and so did the UV filter I had ordered from another source. The lens is the 60mm macro, with caps, case and a box. It is in beautiful shape. It is a Ernst Leitz from Wetzlar GMBH. The serial number is 3279xxx. Now all reference books, Bower and Eastland advise this only focuses to 1:2. Someone explain to me why the barrel is engraved down to 1:1. The viewing clarity is superb and sharp all the way across the screen. I am looking forward to shooting a roll or two tomorrow. Even though the front element is deeply recessed I opted for a UV filter. I like the way it feels on my R7 with winder, but I am also going to work it on an R6.2, again with winder.
