I see that I am the only one who is prepared to get up in the morning and drive 50 miles to a 10am forum meet, then :D

I will be there before 09:30, shoot 150 stunning photos and then meet you all for coffee.

It's the early bird that catches the worm.

Or, as James Thurber put it: Early to rise and early to bed makes a man healthy, wealthy and dead.

TATE gets my vote.

Could we have a challenge for the highest number of photos of Police officers taken on the day? ;)

I think that I'm going to arrive by ferry from Seacombe; there is free space for 200 cars and it is £2:40 return on the boat, that's got to be cheaper than parking in town.

Pete

Lunch is on you then if you're saving so much money. :o

don't forget that the ferry does a three stop trip at the weekend. If you like, I'll popby and give you a lift from the Seacombe car park

That way it'll cost you nothing :)

You must have long week-ends over there, or have I got the date wrong?;)

Good point. Worth checking the timetables.

At weekends (certainly during the summer), the return Seacombe ferry goes right down the river, almost to New Brighton. It makes for a very long trip back if you don't want to see the docks.

I've done some research for the skinflints amongst you this afternoon. The multi-storey car park next to the Echo Arena and BT Conference Centre, is only £1 per hour.

Follow the brown signs - it's off The Strand, and immediately adjacent to the Albert Dock.

Forecast for tomorrow- Arctic, dry, some sun.

I find that I can get a more accurate prediction from Australia than from the UK Met Office; why is that? These folks are consistently better than our shower.
