sqaure_pixel Posted December 4, 2006 Share #1 Â Posted December 4, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I took the liberty of posting, but would like to check if there are any rules, like do the photos being posted need to have been taken with an Leica? Â The photo was taken on a recent trip to Perth.
Advertisement Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Hi sqaure_pixel, Take a look here The Light on the Other Side. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted December 4, 2006 Share #2  Posted December 4, 2006 Hi - welcome to the forum!  Yes, there is a pre-requisite that the images shown here are taken with Leica equipment - after all, that's really one of the points of the forum They must be taken with a Leica body and or Leica lens (including the Panasonics with Leica glass), or be relevant to Leica in some way (so you could use a Nikon or Canon to take a shot of a broken Leica lens, for example)  Prerequisite for placing a photo is that it has been made with Leica equipment and/or has a strong relationship to a Leica subject. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes the use of Leica lenses on third party bodies, Leica lenses on Leica partner cameras (e.g. Panasonic) and the use of third party lenses on Leica bodies. In general, photographs taken without the use of Leica equipment are not permitted. The full Rules are here:  http://www.leica-camera-user.com/rules.php  Nice shot, though. sqaure_pixel Posted December 4, 2006 Author Share #3  Posted December 4, 2006 Sadly I don't make the cut:o  But I will surely return often to look at the forums as I find many inspirational and great work here.  Thanks for the feedback and complement.  If you would like to remove it from the form, because it does not adhere to the rules I will understand.  Cherio
