alexc Posted December 11, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 11, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I use Silver Efex Pro for all my B&W conversions since it was introduced. It is it is one of the best tools available (best for me). Recently I ordered tutorial from Amazon: Amazon.com: Used and New: The Photographer's Guide to Silver Efex Pro - Digital Black and White Conversion Made Easy (eBook on CD-ROM) Great product. Covers a lot of topics, videos etc. Especially useful for somebody who just starting with this great tool. I ordered one from Camerbooks for $25. Great service fast delivery. There is other seller who sells it for much more. Needless to say, I have no affiliation with Camerabooks. Check it out

psamson Posted December 12, 2009 Share #3 Posted December 12, 2009 Pickup the eBook direct from the author for cheaper than Amazon. I just checked again and the price is $19.95 US. Photography books, videos, and workshops by Jason P. Odell, Ph.D. I bought the eBook and I enjoyed it. It's essentially a PDF file with a lot of embedded features such as audio and video. Mac users, FYI you cannot use the Preview application (a PDF viewer) with this eBook. You will need to download the free Adobe Reader to open and use the eBook. Apple's Preview is for less complex PDF files.
