Finnkare Posted December 9, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 9, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I heard a legend that the M5 body cap would be different. Is it? I have a normal one, but haven't noticed anything... Does it have something to do with the light meter?

chanyapat Posted December 10, 2009 Share #2 Posted December 10, 2009 I can use the same body cap with all of my Ms including M5, Hexar Rf, and also Voigtlander R4M....
giordano Posted December 10, 2009 Share #3 Posted December 10, 2009 As far as I can remember a new plastic body cap was introduced with the M5, replacing the former metal-and-plastic one. I got the impression that the latter interfered with the linkage in the lens mount that retracted the meter cell when the lens was removed.
