Andydg Posted December 3, 2006 Share #1 Posted December 3, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone tried Transcend's 4gb card in their D Lux 3? I'm using a Sandisk Ultra II right now, but would like to go to a larger capacity card. I've read in the user manual that a 4gb card has to be designated sd'hc', (high capacity?). From what I gather, anything over 2gb is considered HC. So...what I would like to know is other's experience using HC cards, good and bad. thanks in advance. Vufinder Posted December 5, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 5, 2006 All 4 gig cards, even the high speed series, are NOT HC series rated. You must specifically use a 4 gig HC classification in the the D-Lux 3 for it to be recognized. Also, you must have the appropriate HC card reader, most of the existing card readers are NOT HC compatible. The Transcend HC 4 gig class 6 cards work and Transcend also has a card reader #TS-RDM1 (about $11) that supports SD & SDHC cards. Hope this info helps, Marv
