leicamann Posted December 10, 2009 Share #3 Posted December 10, 2009 Well I like the colors and the scan is well done and well presented. The problem with this composition is that there is no real focal point of interest in the "chaos of nature" ...you need to be more selective in your focus and subject matter to get the 'image" to "crystallize" Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM
TonyW Posted December 10, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted December 10, 2009 Thanks for comments. I understand what you mean about lack of a focal point but personally I love the clutter and chaos of so many shapes and colours. Each to their own, happily. My girlfriend is going to weave a version of this which, I hope, will suit the 'composition' perfectly. Cheers, Tony.
SJP Posted December 10, 2009 Share #5 Posted December 10, 2009 Great picture! The overall texture & color is amazing. So the lack of a "focus of attention" is beside the point, the whole image is the point of attention in this specific case.
