rob_x2004 Posted November 22, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 22, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Out here the best price including delivery I have been able to get onto puts the stuff at about six and a half dollars per roll theoretical not including wastage. Often liquids arent put on mail order sites. Anyone got any suggestions other than f.o. and go digital?

tobey bilek Posted November 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted November 24, 2009 Color Chemicals Color Print | Freestyle Photographic Supplies There are liquids and powders here. Freestyle is mail order shop so they ship everything. My last experience with LIQUID Unicolor C41 was not good. I used it for a long time with great results, then Ektar 25 came along which gives you an idea how far back this goes. Great film. The commercially procced roll was the best 35 mm I ever used. The Unicolor, which I did myself ,was way oversaturated with too much contrast. I finally called Unicolor in Dexter, Michigan and they admitted they changed their product to give the results I was getting. I thought Kodak changed their beautiful film. I found an all powder Press Pack from Germany which is made to be close Kodak C41 and it was. Tetenal made it. Sole problem is the Exp date is coded so you can`t read it. C41 Looks like B&H still sells this kit and I got results very close to what Kodak C41 gives. I suggest you try the Tetenal from B&H.
tobey bilek Posted November 24, 2009 Share #4 Posted November 24, 2009 My second link will not post http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/109267-REG/Tetenal_T109306_C_41_Press_Kit_for.html If this does not work, just use the search on B&H Photo site. Brown Box. 2" square and 6 " long The very best results are with Kodak C41 liquid and separate bleach & fix. This goes for E6 also.
