vikasmg Posted November 24, 2009 Share #21 Posted November 24, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) My MP and every other film M I have owned over 45 years has been like Rocks of Gibraltar -- that is, items I could hand on to another generation and they'd work, barring any abuse, like they did new. So the question is, simply (and I know the M10 or 15 may offer improvements), will the M9 be as DURABLE as the MP? Everything about it seems to be built as well as a film M. Keep in mind that with film you are using a new sensor for each shot. In the case of digital cameras the film has to last as long as the camera. It appears to be a well made film, but it does need cleaning from time to time and only time will tell how durable it is :-| - Vikas
