I am starting with a new Leica 35 mm f/2 until I get real comfortable with the M9, since it appears to be a great all around lens. My second lens will likely be a used 90 mm unless wearing glasses proves to be a problem, if so, I would consider a 75 mm. At some point I am also interested in a used type-4 50 mm f/2 and a 24 mm f/2.8. I want good glass, but size is also a consideration. The 35/75 kit has a lot of appeal, but, for now the M9/35 f/2 combo will keep me busy. Hopefully, I will learn a lot along the way and get to try some other lenses to temper my judgement as to what works for me.
