vish Posted November 21, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 21, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) It might have taken a hit, although no signs of it. Infinity is way out and there's some vertical offset too. Great to build a camera out of brass and magnesium that is indestructable, and then the alignment goes out of whack without it Good work with it so far, but really need to get it fixed as I'm heading down the West Coast and no idea where I will be on any given day right now. Any service centres down that way that anyone knows? I'll be in Portland next week for at least ten days...
Advertisement Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Hi vish, Take a look here How long would Leica USA take to fix my M9? Rangefinder is out of whack.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
noah_addis Posted November 21, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 21, 2009 Last time I had a rangefinder misalignment (on a brand new MP by the way!) they fixed it while I waited at Leica NJ. It took about ten minutes, though it was only a vertical alignment problem. Sometimes it's nice to live close to NJ:D
