horea Posted November 20, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted November 20, 2009 Thank you for the welcome! First lens...debating between: 1. Wide Angle 28mm f/2.8 Elmarit-M 2. Wide Angle 24mm f/2.8 Elmarit M The goal is to have an all around lens for now and keep spending in check. I am open to suggestions, also looking at reputable dealers for used stuff, trying to stay away from eBay. Thanks again! Horea
trs Posted November 20, 2009 Share #7 Posted November 20, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Biased opinion, but I wouild say 28 over 24 if picking just one lens. 28 is kind of normal focal lenth so to speak (it is both wide and long enough for one lens) where as 24 is wide only, but not long enough. Well, eBay's not bad if you got the good a good seller. I picked up basically new 50Lux ASPH for 70% of new price. Welcome to the forum.
