csemetko Posted November 13, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 13, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello All, Just wanted to let you know about a show going on at the Leica Gallery in Frankfurt, Germany. It's called "Craig Semetko: Street Photography" and it features 50 of my black and white prints. 48 are taken with film Leica M's, one is taken with a Rolleiflex, and one taken with an M8.2. Here's a link to the show on the Leica website: Leica Camera AG - Culture - Gallery Frankfurt And here's a direct link to the show at the gallery: Leica Gallery Frankfurt:*Current exhibition The show goes until the 26th of November, I believe. If you happen to be in Frankfurt in the next couple weeks I think you'll like the show, but I KNOW you'll like the Gallery/Store. It's the oldest Leica retail store on the planet and has been family owned for 99 years. Lots of GREAT Leica stuff to see! Hope you can make it, Cheers, Craig

csemetko Posted November 22, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted November 22, 2009 Hello wls! Ha! Glad you liked my pictures! And thanks for posting to let me know. That "circus lady" shot was actually at the Miss Exotic World competition in the high desert here in Southern California. The lady in the shot was one of many burlesque performers who appeared. She had a good sense of humor. I'm glad you could make it to the exhibition and I'll try to keep you informed as to my future showings. And glad to hear from Mr. Malik! Take care, and, Cheers, Craig
juergen Posted November 23, 2009 Share #6 Posted November 23, 2009 Hello Craig, thanks a lot for the hint. I just came back from Frankfurt and yes, I have visited the gallery. Nothing to add to what wls already said, except for one thing, I liked the photograph of man in the restroom, with the M.M. pictures on the wall, the best. I did talk to Mr. Malik, but Mr. Uhl wasn' t there. Juergen
csemetko Posted November 23, 2009 Author Share #7 Posted November 23, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello Juergen, I'm glad you could make it to see the show! Yes, that Laughing Marilyn picture has become a "signature shot" for me. I have nearly sold out of the 16x20 sized edition. It does bring a smile to one's face. Thanks for attending, and have a great holiday season! Cheers, Craig ps--if anyone else is in the Frankfurt area, I believe the show goes on until the end of this week, but call first to make sure.
